Mounted on a frame, compact, modular small-scale equipment suitable for cleaning oily-emulsion, paint-laden, detergent, and suspended solids-containing wastewater, with a capacity of 1-3 m3/h depending on pollutant load. The first technological unit of the equipment is a reactor equipped with mixers, consisting of two compartments. The wastewater to be treated is pushed into the first reactor by a feed pump. Here, a special coagulation-flocculation chemical mixture is added using a powder doser, while constantly mixing. The formation of sludge flakes as a result of chemical dosing is completed in the second reactor chamber. The water flows into a plate settler, where the water and sludge phases separate. The water flows into a clean water tank, from which a pump pushes it through a sand filter. Thus, the treated, suspended solids-free wastewater is discharged or reused (e.g., in car washes). The sludge settled at the bottom of the settler is transferred to a bagged, gravitational filter. Water flows through the filter bags, leaving the sludge behind. The entire cleaning process is automatic, controlled by a PLC located in the switch cabinet, which is also part of the equipment.
