Company Profile

Our company, Körte Environmental Technology Ltd. - along with its predecessors - has been active in the field of environmental protection for over 30 years. In the early days, our main activity was the dewatering of sludges from surface treatment (galvanic) processes. From this, gradual technological development emerged, involving both the modernization of existing wastewater treatment procedures and the development of our own solutions, including "turnkey" installations. Our business expanded, and we designed and manufactured our own development machines and equipment, some of which we still sell as products today (see "Products" menu item). At this point, our scope of activities was no longer limited to galvanics, and we gradually entered nearly every industry. We designed wastewater treatment systems for textile factories, slaughterhouses, dairy farms, car and machinery factories (see "Reference List" menu item). By the early 1990s, we had become a leading company in the industrial environmental protection sector, complementing wastewater treatment with increasingly significant waste management projects.

Our equipment inventory, manufacturing base, and, last but not least, the knowledge acquired during the development of technological solutions helped us participate in emerging environmental remediation projects. We undertook numerous projects to remediate soil and water contamination at abandoned military barracks and to clean up illegally disposed waste (see "Environmental Remediation" menu item).

During this period, we also became acquainted with the concept of environmental services through commissioned work with Western European companies establishing themselves in Hungary. Initially, this involved operating wastewater and/or waste treatment technologies built by us, and later on, it practically meant managing all of the client's environmental tasks. Our company provided the operating personnel, chemicals, liaison with authorities, and professional supervision with a guaranteed result. The fact that we essentially lived with the operating system provided us with extremely valuable experiences that we utilized in our later work.

As an expansion of our technological portfolio, we merged with a company possessing a biological wastewater treatment license. This technological stage was a good complement to our primarily chemical treatment solutions. After a few years of collaboration, our new partner spun off from the company and continued its activities independently. A few years later, following a reorganization, there was also a change in ownership structure.

Today, Körte Environmental Technology Ltd. continues to be a significant player in the industrial wastewater and sludge treatment sector, supported by its solid professional background and high-quality, fair workmanship.
